ESPN video interview with Elissa Steamer

Tadashi Yamaoda over at ESPN has done a wicked Face Time video with “four-time X Games gold medalist Elissa Steamer… the godmother of women’s street skating”. As Tadashi says, she was the first woman to put out a legitimate street video part back in 1996 with her breakout part in Toy Machine’s “Welcome to Hell,” and Steamer hasn’t slowed down since. The Florida native has been living in San Francisco for some time now and here she talks about skating, her new love of surfing, the contest scene for women and more. Outstanding.
