Sarah Walker (22) is the hotest bmx talent to come out of New Zealand. She started BMXing back in 1999 and has gone from strength to strength ever since, winning 9 New Zealand age group titles up to 2008. In the 2009 UCI season she won 7 races and came 2nd in another and was ranked number one in the world by the UCI. If that wasn’t enough she was also one of the favorites to win the BMX women’s event at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, finishing 4th – and in July, Walker won the BMX World Championship in Adelaide, Australia in both the Elite Women and the Elite Cruiser Women events. Incredible skills and a champion of the sport who now inspires many more young girls to get involved and push themselves further.
Here we have some tasty archive footage of Sarah winning the 2007 UCI World Championship in the Womens Cruiser Elite with ease on her ABD BMX.
