Stage 3: Peaches and Cream went down last weekend in Aberdeen and represented the final of the UK Ladies Skateboard Series. Kiwi shredder Georgie Mathiews won the overall competition but the UK Title went to Helena Long.
Lois Pendlebury ended up in 3rd place after a very close final round and should also be given a huge pat on the back as the organiser of the series of events. The standard at all the stages was impressive and it was great to see girls skateboarding being promoted so well. There’s a full write up and photo sesh appearing in Sidewalk Mag very soon but for now you can check out the group photo below and the full set of results.
From what we hear it was a great final weekend both in terms of skating and partying and its important not to forget the great taster sessions that were organised for girls who wanted to dip their toes into the world of skateboarding – as well as the great art photography that was on show.
Nice one Georgie!! Skate on.
